INFINITY GUITARS - A DYNAMIC ROUTINE FROM POLE EVOLUTION DANCE COMPANY

Performed at Carriageworks December 2010 as part of the show 'Spiral Rhythms' and choreographed by Studio Verve instructor Rani Seckold, the brief for this piece, "Infinity Guitars" was to convey something big, energetic and fun. Rani's vision was to make the most of each of the female dancer's strengths and individual backgrounds, but when our male guest performers came onto the scene, Rani worked them into her concept and the choreography naturally evolved from there with some amazing partner work. There is a lot happening in this routine but Rani definitely fulfilled her brief, delivering a dynamic piece that was a 'Spiral Rhythms' audience favourite, bringing the house down and closing the first half of show. Little did we know there were talent scouts in the audience who brought this piece to the attention of 'Australia's Got Talent' producers who granted it automatic entry into the 2011 series! Unfortunately due to the large cast of dancers and conflicting schedules we were unable to commit, but we're excited to now have the opportunity to share 'Infinity Guitars' with everyone. Enjoy!
